Make Keto Cream Puffs Using Only 5 Ingredients

Have you ever wished to make your own Keto Cream Puffs? Today, I’m going to show you how to prepare them completely from scratch using only simple ingredients.

And, believe it or not, preparing homemade keto cream puffs, they are not as difficult as you think!

Keto Cream Puffs

Are you a fan of cream puffs as much as I am? If there are cream puffs on a table full of scrumptious desserts, I’ll always go for them, especially if they’re keto cream puffs!

Everyone knows that the keto diet is a strict regime that restricts the intake of many sweets that are high in carbohydrates and sugar.

However, once you realize that this keto cream puffs recipe only has 5 ingredients, you’ll want to make it all the time. It will quickly become your favorite keto-friendly recipe, and you’ll be able to eat it without feeling guilty.

Can I Flavor the Filling?

You certainly can! Sometimes I use vanilla or peppermint extract in this recipe.

The peppermint gives off a whole new flavor, and you’ll think you’ve discovered an entirely new dessert!

Nothing beats vanilla to enhance the flavor of whipped cream, and it’s really excellent on its own. Vanilla is always a great complement to whipping cream.

Can I Make the Puffs Ahead of Time?

You certainly can. But my advice is not to prepare it too early because it may get soggy or lose its puff.

Also, keep it cool and in the fridge for 2-3 days just to enjoy it fresh and delicious.

Why Did My Cream Puffs Deflate?

Cream puffs typically collapse in on themselves due to one of the following reasons:

The oven has not been preheated before adding the pastries or it is not the right temperature.

  • High heat is critical for getting these Puffs to rise and bake up structurally sound.

You probably opened the oven door during the baking process.

  • The temperature drops every time you open the oven door, and the rush of cold air can prevent your Keto Cream Puffs from rising properly or remaining puffed once cooled.

You took the pastry out of the oven too soon.

  • It’s important that they be Golden brown and Dry and firm.
  • Check that your oven has a working light so you don’t have to open the oven door!
  • The baking time will vary if you make the cream puffs larger or smaller than the recipe calls for, so keep this in mind.

I followed your directions except I did not put the puff mixed ingredients in a pastry bag as my mixture was too runny. I did fold in the stiff whites.
Can you explain what I did wrong ?
I don’t want to rate this recipe as maybe I messed up. The flavor is great!
