You won’t need to go to the coffee shop after trying this homemade keto pumpkin spice latte recipe because you can make it at home whenever you want.
This homemade keto pumpkin spice latte you’ll be making will definitely be better than Starbucks’ Pumpkin Latte!
Because this keto coffee drink is made with keto-friendly ingredients and only contains 1.5 net carbs per cup and 55 calories.
You’ll feel good about yourself because you made it all by yourself, and you’ll be able to drink it in the morning without worrying about kicking yourself out of ketosis or disrupting your weight loss.
Is Pumpkin Keto Friendly?
Yes, pumpkin is a keto-friendly vegetable — it’s a perfect choice for making delicious recipes if you’re on a keto diet, as it’s low in calories and low in carbohydrates.
One cup of cooked pumpkin (245 grams) provides:
- Calories: 49
- Fat: 0.2 grams
- Protein: 2 grams
- Carbs: 12 grams
- Fiber: 3 grams
However, we shouldn’t rely on the pumpkin for protein or fat because it appears to be relatively low in both.
What Is A Pumpkin Spice Latte?
Each season has its own drink that distinguishes it, we know that ice cream and cold drinks are special for the summer, and also the fall and winter have their own warm drinks like the Pumpkin Spice Latte that Starbucks has been offering since 2014 during the fall season.
A pumpkin spice latte is a warm autumnal coffee drink made with a blend of pumpkin puree, spices, fall flavors, and other non-keto-friendly ingredients.
But on the other hand, my homemade keto pumpkin spice latte is a 100% keto-friendly version.
It’s low in carbs and completely sugar-free, customizable, and only takes a few minutes to prepare.

- Pumpkin Puree – 100% unsweetened pumpkin puree.
- Pumpkin Spice – To give the flavor of traditional pumpkin spice.
- Confectioners Swerve – One of my favorite sweeteners, but you can use any other sweetener you like! Just make sure it’s a keto-friendly sweetener.
- Espresso
- Salt

Frequently asked questions and answers about keto Pumpkin spice latte
Is it possible to make a keto Pumpkin Spice Latte ahead of time and keep it in the fridge?
Yes sure, but take it from me *tip* For a healthier Keto Pumpkin spice latte, it’s best prepared at the time you want to enjoy it fresh.
However, keeping keto Pumpkin Spice Latte in the fridge is simple; just bring an airtight jar and store it in your refrigerator; it will stay fresher and healthier for up to 2-3 days only.
What is the best alternative to regular sugar to use in a keto latte?
In this recipe, I used Swerve sweetener, to give my coffee drink the perfect sweetness.
Swerve is a keto-friendly sweetener that I love to use because it dissolves quickly in batter – last time I used it for a delicious Keto Cinnamon Rolls recipe and also Keto Cheesecake Bites – I recommend trying both.
If you don’t have a Swerve in your kitchen cupboard, you can choose to use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener as an excellent alternative.
He’s just as sweet as Swerve and has 0 net carbs too.

The quick answer is No.
Starbucks employees have confirmed that the popular Pumpkin Spice Latte doesn’t come in a keto-friendly version at all.
For example, a grande pumpkin spice latte has 52 grams of carbs and 50 grams of sugar.
This is too much!!! After drinking it, make sure you’re out of ketosis right away.
However, if you try my homemade keto pumpkin latte, it only has 1g of net carbs – a big difference, right?
And believe me, you won’t be able to tell the difference between my homemade keto pumpkin spice latte and the real version.
